Metaphysical hunger: landscape with guanciale
It's nearly dinnertime: the long shadows of sunset and hunger sometimes provoke strange visions. A metaphysical city composed of the ingredients of a carbonara, with grains of pepper populating the square and a sly De Chirico looking down on the scene from the window.
I guess I was really hungry.
Materials
For this piece, I exclusively used professional, top-quality materials. It's rendered Clairfontaine Pastelmat paper, selected for its ideal texture. I applied colors with soft pastels and pastel pencils from renowned brands: Sennelier, Blockx, Rembrandt, Faber-Castell Pitt, and Stabilo Carbothello. All pigments are premium and highly light-resistant, ensuring the artwork's enduring vibrancy.
