The suspended village
Looking out my studio window on a rainy winter day is almost always a magical experience. The landscape transforms; low clouds envelop it as if erasing entire parts of the mountains, portions of the universe. What remains visible seems to float in the air, suspended in an evocative and unexpected void.

This drawing was created using professional-grade charcoal on Arches Aquerelle hot-pressed, satin grain, 100% cotton paper, 300 gsm.
