A sense of home

Returning home after a few days away, I felt the valley where I live draw me in a true embrace of home. This feeling inspired The Houses series: four charcoal drawings that explore the meaning of "home" beyond just the building. Home is a place in your heart where you long to get lost, an intimate and emotional landscape where every perspective, even the most unexpected, feels familiar and welcoming. The fourth drawing, The seaside house represents that longing because sometimes it's wonderful to descend from the mountains and find that sense of belonging in those holiday spots where you always feel at home.
