Nature at the Heart of Things
Sabbath is the third and final part of the Naturalis Causa triptych, an exploration of the profound relationship between humanity and nature, and its essential rebalancing. In this concluding piece, nature, symbolized by a majestic stag, is finally returned to the center of existence. Humans, now renewed and aware of their primordial bond with it, begin to adore and venerate it once more, completing the cycle of redemption initiated in the first part of the triptych.
Materials
This drawing was created using professional-grade graphite pencils and charcoal on Canson Heritage hot-pressed, satin grain, 100% cotton paper, 300 gsm.
