Valsolda to savor
Zero Kilometer is a celebration of Valsolda, reconstructed on a table using the fruits of the land that the valley offers. I wanted to fuse vision with taste, creating a single representation of what the eyes can admire and the palate can savor. Cheeses, jams, walnuts, fruit, and wine become the constituent elements of this edible landscape, forming the unmistakable skyline of the valley.
Materials
For this piece, I exclusively used professional, top-quality materials. It's rendered on 1,8mm Clairfontaine Pastelmat board, selected for its ideal texture. I applied colors with soft pastels and pastel pencils from renowned brands: Sennelier, Blockx, Rembrandt, Faber-Castell Pitt, and Stabilo Carbothello. All pigments are premium and highly light-resistant, ensuring the artwork's enduring vibrancy.
