Weaving Oneself
One day I thought that creating one's identity is just like knitting. It's not a static process, but a relentless and patient construction, a continuous work that begins with that intricate ball of possibilities and experiences that make up our lives. It's a thread that unwinds from within us, weaving the person we are, day after day.
Materials
For this piece, I exclusively used professional, top-quality materials. It's rendered on 360 gsm Clairfontaine Pastelmat paper, selected for its ideal texture. I applied colors with soft pastels and pastel pencils from renowned brands: Sennelier, Blockx, Rembrandt, Faber-Castell Pitt, and Stabilo Carbothello. All pigments are premium and highly light-resistant, ensuring the artwork's enduring vibrancy.
