If it burns, let it burn!
On a break speaks of those moments when, faced with life's problems, you wish you could shed your armor, become a child again for a moment, and put everything on pause. Unfortunately, the armor can't simply be laid down, and bending over such a small rocking horse can seem like an immense effort. But it's worth it. Stopping for a moment, acknowledging your limits, and observing the siege from a new perspective—without the adult superstructures we create for ourselves—radically transforms the fight: returning to battle after a pause is a completely different story.
Materials
For this piece, I exclusively used professional, top-quality materials. It's rendered on 1,8 mm Clairfontaine Pastelmat board, selected for its ideal texture. I applied colors with soft pastels and pastel pencils from renowned brands: Sennelier, Blockx, Rembrandt, Faber-Castell Pitt, and Stabilo Carbothello. All pigments are premium and highly light-resistant, ensuring the artwork's enduring vibrancy.
