The cage keeper
The Key is a reflection on our inner world. We can choose to keep our emotions, fears, or aspirations locked away, secretly feeding them, or find the courage to open that cage and let them take flight. The key is tied around our neck; it's up to us to decide whether or not to open the cage.
Materials
For this piece, I exclusively used professional, top-quality materials. It's rendered on 360 gsm Clairfontaine Pastelmat paper, selected for its ideal texture. I applied colors with soft pastels and pastel pencils from renowned brands: Sennelier, Blockx, Rembrandt, Faber-Castell Pitt, and Stabilo Carbothello. All pigments are premium and highly light-resistant, ensuring the artwork's enduring vibrancy.
