I’m incredibly thrilled to share news that fills me with immense pride and joy: my drawing, "The Knight at Castello,"has been officially acquired and is now part of the permanent collection of the prestigious Museo Casa Pagani in Castello Valsolda!

This achievement goes beyond all expectations and represents a profound recognition for my artistic journey. But let's take a step back to tell the story.

The Story Behind the Artwork

It all began in 2014 when I moved here, to Castello in Valsolda. The unique atmosphere of this historic village, its ancient walls, and breathtaking views immediately captured my imagination. It was from this very inspiration that "The Knight at Castello" was born: an ink drawing depicting a medieval knight's helmet, with a unique reflection revealing the village entrance – precisely what I saw every day from my home. A true tribute to this magical place that has become my refuge and my muse.

From the Village to the Museum

The "Knight's" journey continued in 2022, when I had the opportunity to participate in my first exhibition at Museo Casa Pagani, a group show dedicated to contemporary local artists. During the exhibition, my drawing particularly impressed the museum director and staff. Some time later, the unexpected proposal arrived: to donate the artwork to the museum for its permanent collection. An invitation which, of course, I accepted with immense joy and gratitude.

The Official Presentation: An Indescribable Emotion

Last Saturday was an unforgettable day. Museo Casa Pagani hosted the official presentation of its new acquisitions. "The Knight at Castello" was unveiled alongside another important donation by artist Giuliano Togni and two magnificent 18th-century paintings. Being there, seeing my work recognized in such an illustrious context, surrounded by works of past masters, was an incredible emotion and an honor that I still find hard to fully grasp.

Where to Find "The Knight at Castello"

Today, "The Knight at Castello" is on permanent display in the contemporary art section of Museo Casa Pagani, a place that also carefully preserves the baroque masterpieces of Paolo Pagani.

I warmly invite you to visit the museum to admire this artwork and discover the entire collection. It's a unique experience that blends history, classical, and contemporary art.

My heartfelt thanks go to Museo Casa Pagani for this extraordinary opportunity and to everyone who has supported me on this journey.

I hope this story can inspire other artists and enthusiasts to follow their dreams!
